New projects on the go

 new ideas are still flowing so i have 2 new projects at the moment

both are for newborn size 0-3 months.

Always nice to gift something you have lovingly made for a friend or relatives new born bundle, I really love to make personal gifts rather than buying something off the shelf and with that in mind i have designed a Cardigan and a dress.

the cardigan is unisex which makes it perfect all year round for any new born baby.

the dress is perfect for a summer time baby made with a 4 ply soft cotton or for the cooler months made from a 4 ply soft merino yarn or of course any other 4ply yarn you choose :)

Testing is beginning soon and I will post here once they are available :)

Vests love them or hate them??

 my mind got busy again!

V neck vests, yup thats what i have been thinking about. theres so many square and round neck stuff around so i thought why not go all in and create a newborn vest with cute little buttons and a V neck.

that is my latest project to work on but then what if that vest could also be made as a jumper...

hush brain, we are making a vest!

this one wont be just a plain stitch, it needs some pretty, ive got a few going but with each one i finish or partly finish or set aside because the shape wasnt right or the head size of a child wont fit through there! ( rolls eyes at self) so yup this is a journey for sure

the picture at the bottom was my oops what were you thinking, the armholes are all wrong and no, the size of the child that will fit wont fit their head through there! so the other 2 are in varying degrees of progress and one that i think i could nearly say, by gee i think she got it!

 Ladies Jumper time :)

After my spring/ summer time Beach and beyond thoughts i went backwards and got all cold again so what to do when youre cold? Design a jumper pattern of course :P

Having made several of the No wrong Way childrens jumper for the little people in my life i decided why not make an adult version :)

so here it is

still too cold to wear it here in Australia but the Spring time weather has shown itself a few times which is a good start :)

 Its winter time here and has been cold, very cold.

so why i am currently creating a very summery pattern must be my subconcious wanting warmer weather to come along sooner rather than later!

the 4ply cotton im using isnt like making a nice warm blanket to drape over myself as the rain pours down and the wind blows a gale.

this pattern in my mind is going to be something to throw on over your bikini at the beach, not that my figure is condusive to wearing a bikini by any means but this will be a nice alternative to wrapping ones towel around the body like you have just stepped out of the shower!

I also think it would be a nice addition to the little black dress. pop it over the top to give a different look.

who knows, it could work...
